Hey, I'm Tracey
Founder of the Real Rescue Mama and a Lifelong advocate for animal welfare.
Born and raised in Rochester, NY, Tracey Cleveland has spent her life on both coasts, but her heart has always been with animals. Now residing in Jonesboro, GA, Tracey lives with her son and four rescue dogs—Trudy, Mr. Beanz, Diamond and Fang. For Tracey, coming home to the loving energy of her dogs after a long day is the highlight of her life. Her journey into the rescue world began with a deep empathy for pit bulls, a breed often misunderstood, and her passion has only grown stronger. Tracey is proud to dedicate her life to rescuing dogs and finding them loving homes.
Rescuing dogs isn’t just a hobby for Tracey—it’s a mission that runs deep in her core. For her, every dog represents a second chance at life. She finds purpose in healing their emotional wounds and giving them the love they deserve. Watching a once-forgotten dog thrive in a new home brings Tracey endless joy. She believes that by saving one dog at a time, she’s making the world a more compassionate place.
